Meet the Trainers


Anne McLean - Trainer

Anne McLean

Anne is head trainer at Help Fife Animals dog training club. She has worked with dogs all her life and is an experienced dog handler, trainer & behaviourist.

Promoting responsible dog ownership and pet dog training are high on her priority list.

Anne's qualifications are;

Kennel Club Good Citizen examiner and assessor

Member of Association of Pet dog Trainers

Associate Member British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers

Member of the Institute of Pet Behavioural Consultants

Associate Member of the Animal Care College

Member of the Institute of Animal Care Education

Ian McLean

Ian is an assistant trainer with many years experience of dog handling & training.

Ian's special interest is "Rescue Dog Rehabilitation", and many dogs have him to thank for their very existance. Many rescue dogs would not be able to be re-homed without his assistance.

Callum Ferguson

Callum is an assistant trainer, who has been training his own dogs with HFA since he was 10 years old. He has qualified for Crufts finals in Young Kennel Club Obedience and Heelwork to Music several times. In 2010 Callum became a Kennel Club Good Citizen examiner.

Barbara Wyse

Barbara is our assistant puppy trainer, she and her Cocker Spaniel, Dennis, have been doing Heelwork to Music for several years, and have achieved gold level in The Good Citizen obedience scheme.
