Rally Oct 13 Part 2

KC Rally Trial - Oct 2013

Help Fife Animals held its second successful KC Rally Obedience Trial at Caldwells Equestrian Centre, by Auchternuchty on 26th June 2013. Competitors came to the Trial from as far as North of England, the West Coast of Scotland and the North of Scotland as well as many of our own club members. Pictured are the winners from level 2. The rosette winners and the qualifiers form level 1, Level 3 and the fun 'have a go' class are pictured below. The full results can be downloaded from the link below.

KC Rally Trial - June 2013

Help Fife Animals held the first Scottish KC Rally Obedience Trial at Gilvenbank Park on 29 June 2013. The Trial attracted around 60 entries, some from HFA club members but also from other clubs including some as far as the North of England and the North of Scotland. The photographs show those who qualified by achieving over 170 points and the overall winners of part 1A and part 1B.

Scottish Kennel Beginners Competition

Members of Help Fife Animals took part in a heat of the Scottish Kennel Beginners Competition. The photograph shows the senior finalists in the competition. The final will be held at the SKC Ingliston show in August 2013.

Good Citizen Test Night

On March 1st 2012 we held a very successful Good Citizen Test night.

Handlers and dogs were entered at all levels;

Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The standard was high, with 24 out of 26 dogs passing their tests.

Fun Show 2012 - Getting Started

Heelwork to Music Fun Show 2012

Help Fife Animals held its annual Heelwork to Music Fun Show at the Dog Management Centre in Leslie on Sunday 19th February 2012.

The event was well attended with some familiar faces from both East and West Scotland who had great new routines. There were also many new competitors to the Heelwork to Music sport. The Young One Class particularly had a good number of entries and it also saw the youngest competitor ever in a Help Fife Animals HTM Fun Show.

Glenrothes Gala 2011

Help Fife Animals hosted the dog show at the Glenrothes Gala in Sept 2011. The show included pedigree and novelty class with many different breeds taking part in best rescue, best six legs, sausage retrieve and waggiest tail. A first this year was the 'Just for Fun' which saw Heelwork to Music demonstrations from HFA members and their friends from other part of Scotland, the human dog tunnel and an elimination game. Spectators were also given the chance to come into the ring with their own dog for a try of Heelwork to Music.

Canine Christmas Party 2011

Members from puppy class, obedience classes and the heelwork to music class came together recently to enjoy the annual Help Fife Animals Dog Training Club's Canine Chrisrmas Party. Accompanied by their dogs they had lots of fun participating in games at the event which was held at the Dog Management Centre in Leslie.

The Fancy Dress parade was very popular this year and was won by Elizabeth and Millie, the west highland terrier, who was sporting a lovely kilt and bonnet.

HTM Fun Show - Feb 2011

Help Fife Animals held a very successful Heelwork to Music Fun Show on Sunday 13th February 2011 with fun and novelty classes organised. Competitors come from the East and West Coast of Scotland and the North of England to the event.

Help Fife Animals members joined in a fancy dress parade and games at the Christmas Party which had to be re-scheduled to January 2011 because of the bad weather.

YKC Obedience Show

Helf Fife Aminals hosted a YKC Obedience show in September 2010 at the Dog Management Centre in Leslie. The judge was Barbara Elder and young competitors came from Fife, Angus and other parts of Scotland and the North of England to compete.

Glenrothes Gala 2010

Help Fife Animals hosted the dog show at the Glenrothes Gala in Sept 2010. The show included a Heelwork to Music fun show and showing including pedigree and novelty class. Visitors to the event were also given the opportunity to try some fun agility.
