HFA HeelworkTo Music Fun Show
The Valentine Day HTM Fun Show held by Help Fife Animals on 14 Feb 2010 proved to be a great success. Competitors came from the North of Scotland and the North of England to join in with the locals, some to try out their new skills in the Just Getting Started class, other to strutt their stuff and others to try new routines. The event saw handlers demonstrate excellent heelwork and freestyle routines with a variety of dog breeds including a Leonberger , a Doberman, a Rottweiler, Papillions, Poodles, a West Highland Terrier, a Lhasa Apso, a Cocker Spaniel, Miniature Schnauzers, a Terrier cross, Nova Scotia cross, a Labrador as well as Bearded and Border Collies.
Competitors battled it out in the Just Getting Started class, and The Getting Better class to win coveted rosettes and special valentine day prizes. This was followed by a busking round when competitors were given 30 seconds of music to show what they could do.
